Mihelich Joins BMC
Belmont Media Center today announced the hiring of Patricia Mihelich as BMC’s first Administrative Manager.“We are very happy to have Patty on staff and in such a key role”, said Jeffrey Hansell, BMC Executive Director.
“I have always been impressed with her community involvement and dedication. And after working with Patty on other community projects, I look forward to now working with her on daily basis and feel fortunate that she brings considerable administrative and financial management skills to the BMC.
Many residents may know Patty as the founder and main force behind the Belmont Food Pantry, a vital community asset for many families and individuals. “I will be able to continue my volunteer work with Food Pantry, but will look to more volunteers to pitch in from time to time”, Mihelich commented.
Hansell also added, “One sort of unexpected benefit is that Patty is so familiar with Belmont Media Center, given that she started volunteering back when BMC was known as Channel 8 and housed in the high school, almost twenty years ago.”
According to records, Patty may have been one of the original TV crew members of “Time Out Sports Talk”, a local sorts talk show produced by BMC Board Treasurer Todd Bloniarz, and Belmont resident Howie McClallen.
Aside from taking on the administration of BMC membership & operations database, Ms. Mihelich will also coordinate the Gallery@BMC, and oversee internships & volunteers.
